School Travel Plan

The School Travel Plan (STP) is in place to promote and facilitate active, safe and sustainable travel to and from school. We encourage alternatives to the private car.

The main objectives of the Norbury STP are to:

• Improve the health and wellbeing of the community by encouraging active ways of getting to school.
• Improve the local environment by cutting CO2, reducing emissions and improving facilities for walkers and cyclists.
• Improve road safety through education.
• Improve access and opportunity for safe and independent travel.

At Norbury we value and respect the rights and views of all our community which is why we work in tandem with all key stake holders to develop and adapt our travel plan.

We have gained our silver award for our STP and are currently working closely with the Harrow STP team to get our gold award.
