Children who are due to start primary school in September 2025
Children born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021. You need to apply for a reception place.

Children born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014. You need to apply to transfer to secondary school.

We strongly recommend that you submit your secondary application by Friday 25 October 2024, as this is the Friday before the half term holiday.
Vacancies in Nursery September 2025 intake
You can apply for a nursery school place for September 2025, if your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022.
Your child can attend nursery either in the mornings or the afternoons or the option of 30 hours and flexi time is available at some nurseries. You can say which option is suitable for you during your application.

Appealing a school place
You can appeal any decision made about the school place you have been offered. Appeals will be heard on the basis of the admissions criteria.
You can appeal for a place at any primary school in Harrow, if your child is in reception, year 1 or year 2. To submit an appeal please complete the appeal form, or contact the Admissions Service to obtain a paper copy.
